What was your experience like in working with us from start to finish?

We were in search for a DJ for our wedding. But it couldn’t be just  anyone. Working in the wedding industry, I’ve worked with many DJ’s but havnt met one that I had wanted for our wedding. We were praying into finding the perfect DJ for us, and we chatted with Tony about finding a DJ, a childhood friend of ours, and he mentioned he DJ’s for Sterling Entertainment. To our surprise we were so thankful because we’ve seen Tony attend to many media and “music” needs in church. He knows his sound and he knows his music! We could say he’s an audiophile of sorts. DJ-ing is totally something Tony is naturally great at. He helped us so much with making us feel at ease, and not worrying that the sound will go out, or there will be embarrassing songs played (like the Chicken dance, thank GOD that wasnt played). He also sent us an outline for our songs that was really helpful! Tony took all our suggestions into hand, and made us feel like everything was taken cared of!

We have also worked with Matt at previous weddings as well. Initially our thoughts were to ask family and friends about a DJ. So we asked Tony first. Our plan B was to ask our previous Bride Kelly & Paul Kahler, about their DJ, Matt. He was amazing at their wedding, but we were so thankful when we found out that they both teamed up together at Sterling Entertainment!! Truly a blessing to us!!!! We felt like we got the best  DJ team EVER!

OH MY GAWD! This was SUPER important! Our vision for our wedding was to unite both sides of our family and friends, and to really share the LOVE of Jesus with our guests. We were also envisioning an atmosphere that was relaxing, fun, and inviting. We received ALL that and so much more from Tony’s Dj-ing! We had a specific list of songs and artists we wanted played, and it was so great to hear them all LIVE at our wedding!!!!
For us, it was vital that our DJ could translate our vision auditorily. We had specific songs that had a lot of meaning to us and our family, and we were so thankful when Tony said “oh yeah! I know that song”, and “Yeah how about this album!”. It made us feel like he knew exactly what we wanted and what we were envisioning.  The guests LOVED the songs, and kept asking us about our music. Especially on the dance floor!
We had one of our friends MC our wedding. Tony and our friend were such a great team! It seemed like they knew each other for years, when they only just met at our wedding! They worked together seamlessly! Everyone was laughing and having a great time! Not to mentioned Tony and the MC even got the most unlikeliest people up on their feet!! We were so surprised to see all the dinner seats nearly EMPTY because everyone was jamming on the dance floor!!!!

How do you feel in regards to how we worked with the other vendors? For Example: Planner, Set Manager, Photographer…etc.

Our planner Suzy Weeks mentioned how she loved working with Tony and it was easy to communicate with him! Our other vendors such as our photographer, caterer, venue coordinator, and videographer loved working with him, because they were able to capture and bring forth our vision for our wedding! Music is very important to creating an atmosphere, and again Tony delivered in such a way that we will be talking about for DAYS. We were blessed to have a venue that allowed a lot of flexibility for Tony’s equipment so that was definitely a plus! Tony’s set up was also mobile (which is quite amazing) and allowed for an effortless transition from our ceremony to reception area which was almost 400 ft away.

Would you recommend Sterling to anyone looking for event entertainment?

OMG YES! We’ve shared with our friends and family about Sterling Entertainment! We also share with our bridal clients from our photography business in hopes they’ll get for themselves a unique Sterling Entertainment music experience!

Working with Sterling Entertainment was an easy and rewarding experience from start to finish. Through their collaborative effort, Tony and Matt made us feel at ease and reassured us that all of our requests would be met and expectations fulfilled.

We had a variety of songs that needed to be played, at various times, and SE honored their commitment to us by executing all queues that was necessary to keep our ceremony and reception flowing. All of our guests expressed similar sentiment of SE as they responded positively to the various styles of music, emcee interaction and overall welcoming attitude SE delivered on.

How do you feel in regards to how we worked with the other vendors? For Example: Planner, Set Manager, Photographer…etc.

SE and their service was nothing short of professional and respectful for our wedding. It was refreshing to see them work so seamlessly with our coordinator, photographers, and even our guests!

Would you recommend Sterling to anyone looking for event entertainment?

We would recommend SE to anyone looking for as exciting and energetic event. Between their music, set up, and entertainment, SE will take your wedding or any party to the next level.

Matt did a great job MC-ing, flexible with our itinerary; it didn’t feel rushed. We really liked the choice of music – it really got people dancing and it was a lot of fun!

We don’t remember since the night was such a blur but everything turned out okay, so it was good.

What was your experience like in working with us from start to finish?

Working with Matt and Tony was simple, easy, and not at all stressful. From beginning to finish, they were communicative through email, phone, and Skype, and answered every question we had with assurance and confidence. They are also super friendly, patient, and understanding. They made us feel comfortable and put all of our needs and requests at the forefront to ensure we were happy with the itinerary and services they were going to provide for our big day!

Matt & Tony truly make a great duo. Our wedding consisted of a mix of elderly and young people, so we asked that Matt keep the overall tone of his MC-ing appropriate, fun, lighthearted, and humorous. And he did just that! Matt is fantastic at keeping the attention of the crowd and making everyone feel at ease. Tony was a great DJ and worked all aspects of the equipment extremely well. Most of the times at weddings, it’s difficult to hear the MC, the speeches, music, slideshow, blessings, etc. But these two had a top of the line sound system to ensure the entire venue could hear what was going on. The music was on point and they checked in with our wedding planner consistently to ensure that the itinerary was moving along smoothly and to check with time. They announced each event clearly so that our guests always knew what was going on. And if something wasn’t going according to plan, they did a great job at improvising and making it seem like everything was fine!

Our other vendors thought Matt and Tony were awesome! Because they are such kind and considerate gentlemen, they made sure our wedding planner, photographer, photobooth coordinator, and venue coordinator always knew what was on the agenda next and kept them up to date with any changes that may have occurred. They didn’t get in anyone’s way and were more than happy to help even if it wasn’t a part of the services we originally signed them up for.

Would you recommend Sterling to anyone looking for event entertainment?

Absolutely! I would recommend Sterling Entertainment to anyone who is looking for a DJ and MC who are professional, fun, and know exactly what they’re doing. Having a great duo such as them really made the difference for our wedding. They were also so fun to work with and at the end of it all, you’ll feel like you gained two friends more than you did a vendor. ☺
